Empower Your Future Mentoring

In addition to the popular Empower Your Future school presentations, we have always wanted to do more to help the kids and continue our contact with them.  EYF opened their mentoring center July 14,2007 at 6284 Oram st, Dallas, Texas with the sponsorship of Bethany Christian Church. The mentoring center is designed to help qualified students and parents by providing mentors who can help them with school, hobbies, questions, and a goals booklet to help students gauge their progress in achieving their goals in life. This goals booklet which was introduced in 2005, is a chance for the student to look at their life, and make their own choices about who they want to be, and what they want to achieve in life. By having this goals booklet, it helps the student see their progress and develop a path to success.

Mentoring program is now becoming the main focus of the Empower Your Future program.  We feel that now is the time for the program to change and become more and by having a greater impact on fewer people with enhanced chances for success.  The program meets monthly at the mentoring center so we can continue to monitor the progress of participants and adjust the program accordingly.
